The Fuegian dog, or Yahgan dog, or Patagonian dog, is an extinct type of canid. Its ancestry is a matter of scientific debate, though traditionally it was thought to be bred and domesticated from the South American culpeo, also known as the culpeo fox.

The Fuegian dog, also known as the Yahgan dog, was regarded as an integral part of indigenous communities in the Tierra del Fuego region. It was traditionally thought to be domesticated from the South American culpeo fox. Despite its dog-like appearance, it was not a true domestic dog, as it displayed some behaviors and characteristics of wild canids.
