The Italian Greyhound or Italian Sighthound is an Italian breed of small sighthound. It was bred to hunt hare and rabbit, but is kept mostly as a companion dog.
Originally developed in Italy for hunting in open fields and wooded areas.
The Italian Greyhound is known for its elegant and slender build, making it exceptionally agile. Despite their hunting roots, they are primarily kept as companion dogs today, known for their affectionate and gentle nature. They adapt well to apartment living but need regular exercise.
