The Pug is a breed of dog with the physically distinctive features of a wrinkly, short-muzzled face, and curled tail. An ancient breed, with roots dating back to 400 B.C., they have a fine, glossy coat that comes in a variety of colors, most often fawn or black, and a compact, square body with well developed and thick muscles all over the body.
Originally bred to be companion animals in the palaces of ancient China.
Pugs are known for their charming personalities and adaptability to different living environments. They are one of the oldest dog breeds, having been pets of royalty in ancient China. Pugs are generally good with children and other dogs, making them excellent family pets.
